Hometown: Canterbury, Kent
Education: BA in Music from Durham University
After being a chorister at Canterbury Cathedral, choral music had always been William’s most keen interest. During his undergrad, his interests remained with choral music. William became interested in hip-hop through studies of popular music. His dissertation focused on hip-hop and race issues in America. At Durham, he directed a chapel choir for two years, and sung in various others, which led to finding the MLitt in Sacred Music course at St Andrews.
William sings a lot. He also enjoys playing hockey, watching football, and watching movies.
