Academic Programmes

ITIA honours modules (or courses) are available within the undergraduate degrees in Divinity.

The Institute offers a one-year residential M.Litt. in Theology and the Arts. This stand-alone Masters course is a unique training programme for artists wishing to reflect on the theological dimensions of their work, and for theologians wishing to explore the place of art within theological thought and practice.

In collaboration with the university’s Music Centre, the Institute also offers an M.Litt. in Sacred Music. This stand-alone Masters course offers a unique interdisciplinary formation in Sacred Music for musicians, scholars, and leaders in artistic ministry.

The M.Litt.s are also ideal stepping stones towards the Institute’s Ph.D. programme, which centres on a three-year independent research project.
