ITIA Round Table with Lord Rowan Williams
We are delighted to welcome Lord Rowan Williams to ITIA, within the School of Divinity at St Andrews, on August 2nd for a round table, celebrating his many contributions to theology and the arts (as scholar, poet and literary critic), over a long and distinguished career.
Rowan Williams has often contributed to ITIA and collaborated with our staff and students on various projects, including most recently a special issue on John Henry Newman (Religion and Literature), co-edited by Dr Rebekah Lamb; the third volume of Vertical Readings in Dante’s Comedy, co-edited by Professor George Corbett; and a Rilke and Eliot Symposium, led by Professor Judith Wolfe.
The event will consist of a round table, led by ITIA staff in conversation with Rowan Williams and a moderated Q&A, followed by a reception.
