How to apply (Ph.D.)
All applications are submitted online. See the School of Divinity’s postgraduate research page for details.
The ITIA Ph.D. is a very competitive programme with limited spaces.
We welcome applications from highly qualified candidates with undergraduate and Masters-level experience (minimum GPA 3.6, UK average 66, or Scotland average 16 at both UG and Masters level) in theology or an arts subject, and sufficient academic experience in the other area (theology for arts students, or an arts subject for theologians).
Prospective applicants are strongly advised to contact a potential supervisor before making an application.
Please note: Applications are only considered complete when all necessary documentation, including references, has been received. Referees are not given a strict deadline for submitting their references, but your application will only be reviewed once both references have been uploaded.
