Catholic Women Writers: A Symposium (Campion Hall, Oxford)
On Friday, 21 of April 2023, there will be a one-day symposium for scholars working on Catholic women writers at Campion Hall, Oxford.
PhDs, post-docs and senior scholars working in this area are all welcome.
Participants will share their research interests and explore possible future collaborations. No charge but food and travel are at participants’ expense. An itinerary will be circulated closer to the date.
Possible areas of discussion include:
- Specific Catholic women poets and prose writers
- Catholic literature by region
- Catholicism, genre, gender
- Theological uses of literature
- Literature, Church and world
- Women and the Church
