C. S. Lewis and the Neurotic Imagination: A Horneyan Analysis, under the supervision of Judith Wolfe.
Simon’s thesis will apply Karen Horney’s theory of neurosis to Lewis in an attempt to understand his conversion without recourse to the action of the Holy Spirit.
Simon has at various times been interested in painting, drama, poetry and photography, but his real passion is music. He has a particular affinity with Czech and Russian music, and an abiding love for Joni Mitchell and Siouxsie Sioux.
